BIOS4 Global Service Learning Project

When experiencing an real life public health or environmental problem from a developing country, students will become collaborative problem solvers engaged in investigating, designing, and evaluating viable, sustainable, and innovative solutions.

Do you want to travel the world and make a difference?

Are you learning either Spanish or French? Do you want to use your language skills with native speakers but at the same time make a difference by doing community service? We are looking for 10 students ages 14-20 that want to meet weekly from September to June to research, plan, and implement a project in Senegal (French Language Learners) or Colombia (Spanish Language Learners) in the area of sustainable farming/agriculture.

This is Free Club as part of our STEAM Works @ Mulberry Lofts Memembership

We will be fundraising all year to pay for the trip! The next co-hort starts in Fall of 2018!

Plus, see local wildlife and culture.

See and experience local culture first hand! During your trip to either Senegal or Colombia you will be able to spend ample time getting to know the customs and people of your host country.
