Finding our common ground as humans will create a better understanding of all people.

We cannot do this great work without the support of wonderful volunteers. We keep prices of our events as low as possible because of our use of volunteers. If you are interested and able to donate any amount of time, please fill out the volunteer interest form below.

It is important to be a lifelong learner. This is a trait that is developed and fostered through enriching programs like STEAM Works, Outreach events, Common Ground Community Art, and our curriculum and professional development workshops.

When we give back we get more than we gave. Many of our events, programs, and items are at reduced cost or free. We spend time working on fundraising and finding corporate and individual donations to help offset the cost of these events. We also feel it is important to incorporate service activities into our operations through programs like BIOS4 Global Service Learning Project.

Managing our resources with care is important. This means natural resources from our planet, physical resources at our learning labs and events, intellectual resources (Our Minds, growing are intellect and sharing our collective knowledge), and our personal physical resource (Our body, by helping the community through workshops on healthy eating and living and our community garden).
