26 Mar Trusting in your friends
So it has been fun and also a little stressful, to be honest as I work on getting things up and running with Beacon House, Inc. However, today I was reminded to take a step back and reflect. If we are going to be successful as a nonprofit in this post-2007 economic depression, we need to be strategic! We need to focus on two main efforts outreach and fundraising for the next few months.
I thank the wonderful people who have helped me take the time to step back and reflect. It is hard often when you are so deeply passionate to take this feedback because you are looking only at the big picture you have in your head. However, I have learned in my life that you need to surround yourself with people who can help you see things you don’t want to see but need to see. These friends are the people that I have enlisted to be a part of this journey. I am glad that I have these people to help focus my passion and energy to guide Beacon House, Inc. in the right direction.
